The Arcadia Young Democrats Club offers many volunteer opportunities such as phone-banking, text-banking, making postcards, and working at big democratic events!
In our 2022-2023 year, our club members worked hard to phone bank every week, and made over 500+ postcards. These postcards ranged from supporting abortion rights to promoting voter engagement. We also attended CADEM, which is an annual gathering of the democratic party. At this event, big speakers such as Gavin Newsom and Nancy Pelosi gave wonderful speeches. Our club members helped volunteer at this convention and had a wonderful time bonding and having fun.

Attending conventions are a great way to listen to famous speakers and earn volunteer hours! In May 2023, our club members attended CADEM, an annual gathering of the Democratic Party in LA.

Judy Chu, a United States Representative, came to Arcadia High School to talk more about poltiics and political engagement in the youth. Her powerful words are just one of many speakers that you can listen to!
More Voter Engagement
Our annual voter pre-registration drive helps to attract more students to vote and pre-register so they don't have to register when they're 18. These drives are vital for more political interaction in our school. Our volunteers worked hard to help many students pre-register!
