ARCADIA YOUNG DEMS

The Arcadia Young Democrats Club, a chartered California Young Democrats (CYD) and High School Democrats of America Club (HSDA), works to improve our community, and give students the platform to have a voice in our nation’s democracy. This is how the Arcadia Young Democrats build citizens with the ability to make a difference in their community through politics.

 

We inform students of their duties as Americans by offering community-engagement opportunities where they can assist in different political campaigns through mediums of phone banking, canvassing, textbanking, and postcarding. To provide students with the civic basis necessary to become active members of society, Arcadia Young Democrats curates presentations and actively engages its members in a range of politically-based activities.

 

Additionally, we aim to collaborate and communicate with our peers and other high school democratic organizations, through our club membership in the High School Young Democrats of America and the California Young Democrats. In all, we believe in promoting what it means to be a part of “we the people” and hope to aggrandise democratic initiatives both locally and nationally.
